Multi-Isp Masqerade ?
...warned... Think I had to use a /32 mask on the nic that was connected to the gateway in the 2 interface setup, so there would be no network route present for it, just the above host route to the gateway. Hope it helps, Jerry I Have this setup as Jerry suggested above and I am not sure How to masqerade the loc isp. Also it is not clear to me which interface (nic) Jerry is reffering to apply a /32 mask on. also posted routing below Here is the config I have now? /etc/shorewall providers loc 1 256 main eth1 10.194.79.254 track, balance eth1 atg 2 512 main eth0 66.224.62.97 track, balance eth1 /e...

Can't connect, even to myself
I have a two-node home network: a Linux machine (RH 5.0, samba-1.9.17p4-3.rpm, also running bind as authoritative for my home domain) and Win 95 with Client for MS Net & File & Print sharing. Linux = calvin.home = 10.5.1.1. Win95 = hodge.home = 10.5.1.10. Calvin is the default gateway for the Win95 box, since I often connect via PPP to the Internet, and I've set up IP

Broken DNS makes Asterisk whacky!
...es a long time for the lookup to timeout. Later, I get some other generally bizzare behavior including: 1. I get "everyone is busy at this time" from devices that aren't. 2. The dual-redirect crash is 100% repeatable now. One of the last things you see is "planning to masqerade 0sd8(*&(& INTO ...." just before it crashes. If you remove the "register" lines from iax.conf (or fix your DNS/Internet problem) it runs fine. My first thought is it could be a timing issue due to the timeout taking so long during startup. Looking at the IAX2 registrati...

Xen 4.0.1-rc5 w/ 2.6.32.16 dom0, DomU''s start paused
I run my production DomU''s using Xen 3.4.1 at the moment with the old 2.6.18.x dom0 kernel. I just built a new Xen version (4.0.1-rc5) with jemerys git repo of 2.6.32.16 dom0 pvops kernel. When starting domains the go instantly into a paused state and eventually i see this error on the command line. [root@host test1]# xm create -c vps.config Using config file

ipchains iproute2 and port based routing
...ge. On my router (at the moment on harddisk) i added the new kernel and the "ip" from iproute2. Everything seems to work. I tried a destination host based routing - works percect. But not the port based routing. How is my configuration? Three nics: eth0 - 192.168.0.0/24 - local LAN - masqeraded eth1 - ppp0 - dialup! - A-DSL Provider eth2 - static IP - S-DSL Provider - routet to another router. This do not work for me: Treid to route all SSH Traffic to eth2 and WEB Traffic to ppp0: first, i mark the pakets with ipchains in the input chain [mark 1 is eth2 | mark 2 is ppp0]: ipchains -A...

Routing packets over multiple links (NICS) all on the same ISP all with same gateway.
Ok ive been trying to get this to work for about half a year now. Ive searched all over the internet for a solution for my problem. Ive found some solutions, but they only led me to yet more problems. What we want to do is the following: I live in a student complex with 7 other people. Every room has its own internet connection from the same ISP. Ip, gateway, subnet are asigned through dhcp on
