No sound (ices-2.0.0, RH9)

If it helps : my soundcard is a ES1988 Allegro-1, the module is "maestro3".
I use kmix as mixer, but there is nothing in it about a "capture channel".
How could I find where it is defined ?

Troubles with my HDD
Hello all,
I am new to this list and hope that my mail is not OFF TOPIC. After
looking around for 2 months now, to find a solution, I will try it here now.
Now the scenario: I bought a new cool dell laptop:
INSPIRON 8100, 512MB RAM, NVIDEA GeForce2Go 32MB, 30GB Hitachi hard disk

CentOS 3 sound intermittently goes out
I'm running CentOS 3.6. The hardware is an Intel D865GBF motherboard,
but I also have a generic soundblaster-compatible PCI card installed,
because back when I installed CentOS 3.1 I had problems getting the
onboard sound to work.
The PCI sound card worked fine until about the time I installed CentOS

No sound (ices-2.0.0, RH9)
Hello,
I've successfully installed Icecast 2.0.0 and Ices 2.0.0 on a Compaq
EvoN600C running Redhat 9. Everything runs quite well (no error loggued by
Icecast or Ices), the Ices stream is seen as a source by Icecast and friends
are able to listen to my radio (I see them as listeners in Icecast admin)...
the problem is that they ear only silence ! Looks like the streaming is OK
but Ices could
