Emailed voicemail
Have Asterisk us at running fine, but have run into a small snag. It's
not emailing the voicemails to the users.
I have attach=yes set, sendmail is configured and works from from the
commandline (sent an email to myself).
Unless I'm wrong, or missing something, asterisk is configured by
default to send an email when a users
receives a voicemail, correct?
Thanx

getent passwd problem
Hi,
I am having a weird issue with samba where once a week approximately at the
same time users will lose connectivity,
if i run
wbinfo -u all users are displayed
wbinfo -g all groups are displayed
However running getent passwd only shows local-users, no remote users are
shown..
To fix the issue I have to change the name of my idmap config and restart
samba and winbind and everything works

Re: 911 and lawsuits and redundancy
...; what happens if a fire breaks out on a
large plant? First, you'd have the staff who found it phoning emergency
services. Next, you'll have the security office phoning the emergency
services... Next, staff in the nearest office are likely to phone the
emergency services, not to mention lorry drivers or forklift drivers on
their mobiles!
On top of this, in most places that a crisis would occur, there is

smbd and pdbedit segfault
Greetings!
I've got a Debian server running Samba that has a rather odd problem I
was hoping someone out there could help with.
Whenever a particular user is referenced, either in in smbd or pdbedit,
a segfault or security context stack overflow is generated.
Here is what I have tried to fix the problem:
Used tdbbackup on all the *.tdb files I could find and replaced the
current ones

popular R packages
I would like to get some idea of which R-packages are popular, and what R is
used for in general. Are there any statistics available on which R packages
are downloaded often, or is there something like a package-survey? Something
similar to http://popcon.debian.org/ maybe? Any tips are welcome!
