Can this MB be used with Centos 4 (or 5)? For reference: http://www.logicsupply.com/products/ms_9832 I don't think we can use this new MB since the Realtek 8111C does not seem to be supported (well) http://forums.tweaktown.com/f69/8111c-nic-revision-ep45-27089/ -- -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- -...

recommends on CentOS + Via Epia CN10000EG
I'm considering building a network gateway using a Via EpiaCN10000EG motherboard like seen here: http://www.logicsupply.com/product_info.php/cPath/79/products_id/444 I've heard that this is a pretty recent mobo and drivers for it are in Ubuntu but that a 2.6.9.x CentOS kernel might have troubles with it. Anyone have any opinions on this mobo? Thanks jed

Diskless xen
Hello, I want to implement a diskless xen hypervisor. The way I suppose it will work is xen booted over pxe and getting iscsi san storage to store vm images. Is solution like that usable ? _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users

The best motherboard for a home ZFS fileserver
I''m a fan of ZFS since I''ve read about it last year. Now I''m on the way to build a home fileserver and I''m thinking to go with Opensolaris and eventually ZFS!! Apart from the other components, the main problem is to choose the motherboard. The offer is incredibly high and I''m lost. Minimum requisites should be: - working well with Open Solaris ;-) -
