  I've been having problems mounting WinXP shares with Samba 2.2.7a & 2.2.8. I attribute this to WinXP using encrypted passwords, but I've set my smb.conf file with "encrypt passwords = yes" and despite a lot of searching, can't find any other option or flag that might help.
