RE: SPA 3000 - UK Replacement
First off I am totally annoyed and let down by PC World Business (PCWB part of the Dixons Group). I ordered one of these babies from them over a month ago. After constantly chasing them up they finally told me they couldn't deliver, and have now only just returned the money they "stole" from me. I only bought from them because they showed a 4-day availability stock level! Now

Unable to set default_url_options[:host] for Action Mailer
I am attempting to provide ActionMailer with the request host needed to generate a url. Here is my code: In config/environments/development.rb config.action_mailer.default_url_options = { :host => "development_url.com" } and in config/environments/production.rb config.action_mailer.default_url_options = { :host => "production_url.com" } When I run the above code

Re: Ogg Spec, etc.

Actually, people have implemented perfectly valid Vorbis encoders and decoders before the specification was even published. I wouldn't go so far as to call other people on this list dirty liars, but I suspect that the spec that's published is good enough for them, and they're simply dealing with different issues than you are, and will not run into the same errors that you'll find in the spec. > At the moment there is de facto no way to write own software with > support...

Sitting in your chair, the temptation to point those errors out in the logs, potentially giving the vendor an elbow in the ribs to fix their liars would be hard to resist. SAMBA AD and Google Cloud Directory Sync
I've successfully setup SAMBA AD following the guide at jimshaver.net and have been able to create all of my users without a problem. When I launch GCDS and attempt to test the LDAP connection via LDAP+SSL via port 636 I get the following error: *[2017-06-02 13:32:34,537] [SwingWorker-pool-1-thread-5] [DEBUG] [plugin.ldap.AbstractLdapHandler] javax.naming.AuthenticationException: [LDAP: error

What about a higher level configuration language
Hi all. I've been reading through Wi-Ki and at the extensions.conf file description (http://www.voip-info.org/wiki-Asterisk+config+extensions.conf) The author says this: "One day, someone is going to write a proper scripting language for Asterisk that can understand a simpler, easier (and more traditional) scripting syntax. All it would need to do is translate the "high

I use dovecot mailbox as destination of fetches from a few POP mailboxes. I would like to pass name of "source mailbox" to sieve script via deliver's command line option(s). As I understand I should use -a "mailbox at domain". How it would be accessible in sieve script? -- [pl>en: Andrew] Andrzej Adam Filip : anfi at onet.eu It is always the best policy to tell the

beware supposed PCI 2.2 compatibility!
I tried to convert a cheapie box with a VIA C3 processor into my Asterisk server with a TDM-400P rev. E. It didn't work. :) I'm just posting my experiences here for the record; this is not a plea for assistance. The nifty-looking blue "E" cards, as most here probably know, require a PCI 2.2-compliant slot. What you may not know is that manufacturers may LIE about that (or

I've been trying to post via the newsgroup and it appears none of my messages went through...so now I'm doing it via the list-serv) I have samba (2.28) running on a linux server (Mandrake 9.2). Please help: The process of am-utils map key lookup
Hi, I am using am-utils(amd binary daemon) to auto mount home directories. the mounting process seems working fine but I am still not understand how the amd map key(s) lookup process works. I've carefully read the am-utils(amd) document at http://am-utils.org/docs/am-utils/am-utils_8.html, especially the chapter "3.2 How keys are looked up" but am still not clear. For example,
