Barplots: Editing the frequency x-axis names
Hi I have a timeSeries object (X) with monthly returns. I want to display the returns with a barplot, which I can fix easily. But my problem is labaling the x-axis, if I use the positions from the timeseries It gets very messy. I have tried rotating and changing the font size but it doesn't do the trick. I think the optimal solution for my purpose is too only display every second or third date, pherhaps only use every 12 month. But how do I...

Parallal Building?
...e other way split up the building process. Normally, indexing 130k documents wouldn''t be that painful except that there are different types of links between these documents and they are not absolute (so for example doc a refers to a document b but there are multiple different documents laballed document a and document b and to prevent false links I have to use some fairly computationally intensive heuristics]. If its not possible to split up the building of a ferret index I''ll probably resolve the links into absolute links as a separate part of the process [which I can sp...

The reason its labaled RHEL is because I'm not positive it will work on another Linux distribution. I don't see why its different to have a label versus having it in the name. Its just more words.... I appreciate the feedback. -Tanya

[LLVMdev] Slight troubles following "Getting Started" instructions
Just for whoever it maintaining the "Getting Started" instructions at http://llvm.org/docs/GettingStarted.html : The page is missing a link to the download section. Problem with Playback sound in 64 bit machine
Sorry for re-posting this message - I am trying to run the latest stable Asterix version 1.2.4. on 64 bit amd procesor. Things are working but the playback sounds that I hear when tring to connect over IAX are of very high frequency. i.e a sentence which should finish in 4 secs finishes in much lesser time. Where can be the problem? any configuration issue? Thanks in advance. -------------- next
