[PATCH] ocfs2: Add extra credits and access the modified bh in update_edge_lengths.
In normal tree rotation left process, we will never touch the tree branch above subtree_index and ocfs2_extend_rotate_transaction doesn't reserve the credits for them either. But when we want to delete the rightmost extent block, we have to update the rightmost records for all the rightmost branch(See ocfs2_update_edge_lengths), so we have to allocate extra credits for them. What's more,

[PATCH 1/1] Patch to recover orphans in offline slots during recovery.
In the current recovery procedure, recovering node recovers orphans from the slot it is holding and the slots that dead nodes were holding. Other online nodes recover orphans from their slots. But orphans in offline slots are left un-recovered. This patch queues recovery_completion for offline slots. Signed-off-by: Srinivas Eeda <srinivas.eeda at oracle.com> --- fs/ocfs2/journal.c | 21

How to: Improve Network Throughput of a XEN kernel?
Hi there, I am starting a new thread to try and solve a problem I am having will slow network throughput to the XEN host (not to a domU). I have confirmed my problem occurs with PVOPS ''xen/master'' kernel as well using http://pasik.reaktio.net/xen/pv_ops-dom0-debug/config-2.6.31.6-pvops-dom0-xen-master-x86_64 as the .config. It also occurs with a forward ported xenified kernel

dlmglue fixes
David, So here are the two patches. Remove all patches that you have and apply these. The first one is straight forward. The second one will hopefully fix the livelock issue you have been encountering. People reviewing the patches should note that the second one is slightly different than the one I posted earlier. It removes the BUG_ON in the if condition where we jump to update_holders. The

[PATCH -v2 0/3] jbd2 scalability patches
This version fixes three bugs in the 2nd patch of this series that caused kernel BUG when the system was under race. We weren't accounting with t_oustanding_credits correctly, and there were race conditions caused by the fact the I had overlooked the fact that __jbd2_log_wait_for_space() and jbd2_get_transaction() requires j_state_lock to be write locked. [PATCH 1/1] OCFS2: fix for nfs getting stale inode.
Ocfs2 supports exporting. PROBLEM: There are 2 problems (1) Current version of ocfs2_get_dentry() may read from disk the inode WITHOUT any cross cluster lock. This may lead to load a stale inode. (2) for deleting an inode, ocfs2_remove_inode() doesn't sync/checkpoint to disk. This also may lead ocfs2_get_dentry() from other node read out stale inode. PROBLEM DETAIL: for problem (1), For
