Save and load workspace in R: strange error.
...etime last week.
And This error happens even when I generate a simple random number
from my user account and save it, and load it again.(So obviously it is
not a R version mismatch problem). Does anybody know what happened?
Here is an example what happened:
> x=rnorm(100)
> save.image('junk4.RData')
> load('junk4.RData')
Error: restore file may be empty -- no data loaded
In addition: Warning message:
file 'junk4.RData' has magic number ''
Use of save versions prior to 2 is deprecated
Thanks for any suggestion.

mail quota dovecot 1.2.15-3
Dear all,
I am attempting to enforce quota with Dovecot 1.2.15-3 using LDA for
deliver. I use smtp-source (postfix) to deliver large messages but the
quota is never noticed. The webmail interface is Roundcube, and the
admin is performed using Postfixadmin. I have not looked into the
postfix portion for quota, yet. Is there something that I have missed
from the configuration? (The

imap-login ESTABLISHED client sessions not timed out by server
Good morning everyone,
I noticed some mobile client connections that I know should have
timed out at least 20 mins ago, yet these are still there. The device
in question lost its 3G connection and never re-established it. I know,
because in this case it was my 'phone ;) Why should the imap-login keep
the copnnection in in EST, when it was dropped ages ago. I imagine that

Dovecor 1.2 : Command output: Fatal: Unknown argument: flags=DRhu Usage: deliver [-c <config file>] [-a <address>] [-d <username>] [-p <path>] [-f <envelope sender>] [-m <mailbox>] [-n] [-s] [-e] [-k] )
Hi there,
I changed postfix to pass email to spamassassin, and then deliver to
dovecot LDA. It fails to deliver.
The current entry in master.cf now reads:
dovecot unix - n n - - pipe
flags=DRhu user=vmail:vmail argv=/usr/lib/dovecot/deliver -d
${recipient}
smtp inet n - - - - smtpd
-o content_filter=spamassassin

dovecot lda and quota plugin with mysql
Dear all,
I have postfix delivering to dovecot lda (via spamassinassin). I
have configured the quota plugin, but it does not seem to respect the
details in the quota table in mysql. The query I have used looks
correct to me, and the user can connect to the database.
I wonder if someone might put me straight on the misconfiguration.
Best wishes, j.

Dear everyone,
I am trying to get my Email set-up to work, and wonder if someone would
shed some light onto this?
Best regards, J.

Set-up is :
postfix -> dovecot LDA -> mysql <- postfixadmin
What works:

postfixadmin is configured, and have created one domain test.info.

dovecot: imap-login: Disconnected (no auth attempts)
Morning everyone,
On the 8th of Jan the TLS/SSL certificate I use with Dovecot expired. I
replaced it with a new on the 9th of Jan. I tested this with
Thunderbird and all is well.
This morning people tell me they cannot get their email using their
mobile telephones : K9 Mail
I have reverted the SSL cert back to the old one just in case.
Thunderbird will works.
