PATCH/RFC: Another stab at the Cygwin hang problem
Hi, In http://sources.redhat.com/ml/cygwin/2002-09/msg01155.html, I noted that the often-observed hangs of rsync under Cygwin were assuaged by a call to msleep(). After upgrading my Cygwin environment to rsync 2.5.6, I'm seeing these hangs again, not surprisingly given a CVS entry for main.c notes that this kludge was not harmless: Revision 1.162 / (download) - annotate - [select for

...production, and we've been suffering from this for some time, while all my research and efforts have failed. I really want rsync/ssh to be our solution (Open Source advocacy is a hot button in our shop here!) but I can't let this failure to log off or restart production servers continue. jpt ------------------------------------ James Tillman Advanced Systems Design FDLE Webmaster 850-410-8415 JamesTillman@fdle.state.fl.us -------------- next part -------------- Cygwin Win95/NT Configuration Diagnostics Current System Time: Mon Jun 23 09:40:20 2003 Windows NT Ver 4.0 Build 1381 Ser...

samba upload crashes system
...larger than a few bytes from windows, the nas crashes completely. Creating folders, downloading and browsing works fine. I could not find any entry in the logs. Everything else works fine, the kernel usually is stable except this samba issue. How do I hunt down this problem? thanks for any help, JPT Software details: I've got SuperCopier 2.2 Beta on windows which handles all file copies from explorer to avoid those annyoing Explorer bugs when doing SMB transfers. But this problem also happens if I use other tools to transfer. Linux NAS 3.8.3.duov2 #89 Sun Mar 17 17:08:16 CET 2013 armv5t...

Hi Roscoe, I couldn't make it though that excel worksheet without my eyes glazing over... but do you want something like data(mtcars) tab <- xtabs(~cyl + gear, data=mtcars) tab/sum(tab) ? Stats/Metrics in 2.3
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA512 Greetings, So the changes to the stats modules between v2.2 and v2.3 have broken some of my monitoring. I am attempting to use the new method of gathering "metrics" from "events" - but the details in the documentation are a bit thin. I started with the examples provided at https://wiki2.dovecot.org/Statistics and tried to

[PATCH 0/9] tools: remove or disable old/useless/unused/unmainted stuff
depends on "autoconf: regenerate configure scripts with 4.4 version" This series removes some of the really old deadwood from the tools build and makes some other things which are on their way out configurable at build time with a default depending on how far down the slope I judge them to be. * nuke in tree copy of libaio * nuke obsolete tools: xsview, miniterm, lomount & sv *
