Windows /RailsInstaller- Webrick starts but welcome page doesn't load
I''m trying the RailsInstaller to get ROR installed on Windows.. everything
was going great(rake db:create/migrate and console working as expected)
until I started the server, webrick starts but the welcome page never loads,
no errors are displayed at all it just sits there forever, I looked at the
logs and there are no errors there either
Here is my configuration
Windows 7
Rails 3.0.4

samba+postscript
Hi,
I used in samba 2.9.0 the parameter postscript for hylafax application. I read
that samba 3.0.0 the parameter postscript was removed.
I need to know what parameter I can use in samba 3.0 in order to replace postscript.

Hi All,
I have an extremely frustrating problem and I kind of think this is an
error in rails, but you never know.
I have a hash of objects that I am iterating through in order to display
the needed info. As I am doing that and displaying half a dozen values,
one value is being interrupted by rails as a hash and giving me this
error:

Date parse - month and day reversed
I am getting the month and day reversed in parsing a date. I am wondering if
there is some intelligence in Ruby that knows that at the moment I am in
Mexico, as the parsing is working as if I was
"6/15/2008".to_date
=> ArgumentError: invalid date
"15/6/2008".to_date
=> Sun, 15 Jun 2008
What I really want is my date to be understood as month/day/year. Is there a

Rails 3.0 App Deployment
I have a Rails 3.0 App ready to be deployed on a production server; but as
you all might know getting all the gems you need (including Rails 3.0) on a
shared hosting is nearly impossible. So here is what need help with:
1. Can I freeze my app with all the necessary gems and deploy it on Fast
CGI?
2. If yes how do I freeze a Rails 3.0 app?
3. How do I deploy it on Fast CGI?
