DIDs > PBX > Multi-channel balanced audio output?
There came up an interesting question on last weeks VoIP Users Conf call. http://vuc.me. An internet broadcaster wanted to be able to take a number of "phone calls" and bring them into a traditional audio mixer where each call was a separate balanced audio source to the mixer. Let's say that he might need 8 simultaneous calls. Is there a way to set this up using a single Asterisk

status of Jack?
Hi, Could someone please explain me what is the current status of the jack audio back-end? (Both midi and audio.) The feature to switch back-end seems to have disappeared from winecfg, and I can't find anything useful in the docs either. Thank you for your help: Kristof

Surfing the web via Asterisk.
Ah, no, you misunderstand. Asterisk wouldn't care one little bit what is on the page - Chromevox would do all that. A screenreader usually tabs or arrows their way about, selecting headings to read content. Thus, Asterisk ONLY needs to be able to hear content FROM the browser and pipe it to the channel, and pass keypresses back TO the browser. The human is the parser, if that makes sense?
