[RFC][SVE] Supporting SIMD instruction sets with variable vector lengths
...ago. The general feeling was that we can start with intrinsics and, if they work, we change the IR. We can have a work-in-progress implementation before fully committing SCEV and other more core ideas in, and then slowly, and with more certainty, move where it makes more sense. > Also, "iota" is the name Cray has traditionally used for this operation > as it is the mathematical name for the concept. The quadprog package
Hi everybody, I'm using Windows XP Prof, R 2.5.1 and a Pentium 4 Processor. Now, I want to solve a quadratic optimization program (Portfolio Selection) with the quadprog package I want to minimize (\omega'%*%\Sigma%*%\omega) Subject to (1) \iota' %*% \omega = 1 (full investment) (2) R'%*%\omega = \mu (predefined expectation value) (3) \omega \ge 0 (no short sales). Where \omega is a Nx1 vector of the weights invested in each asset \Sigma is the NxN variance-covariance matrix \iota is a 1xN vector of 1's R' is a Nx1...

...bool any() { + return UnsafeAlgebra | NoNaNs | NoInfs | NoSignedZeros | + AllowReciprocal; + } Gripe: This pattern is probably super fast and has precedence… but the code is non-obvious: SubclassOptionalData = (SubclassOptionalData & ~BitToSet) | (B * BitToSet); This is likely one iota slower.. but it sure is easier to get the intent. dovecot-SASL for Postfix: EXTERNAL does not work.
...e as a base64 string, less postfix CA, .. or whatever.) [1] https://marc.info/?l=postfix-users&m=159785887710910&w=2 What is really terrible with the current situation is that postfix announces the EXTERNAL, with Wietse Venema saying Short summary: Postfix does not implement a single iota of SASL AUTH support. Postfix simply propagates the names of mechanisms that the backend (Cyrus or Dovecot) claims to support, and Postfix proxies requests and responses between the remote SMTP client and the SASL backend. Postfix has no idea what SASL mechanisms are, including EXTERNAL....

Dynamic DNS updates (Samba 4.8.2 & Bind 9.10)
Hi all - I've been fighting Dynamic DNS updates for _weeks_ now. Quite possibly I am missing some key piece of information, and if so, please let me know! I have been going through every iota of information trying to figure this out on my own, but I finally must ask. I am unable to get any machines to _naturally_ register. I can force register with samba-tool and I can create new records with the DNS mmdc tool. But as far as a new windows workstation auto-registering, or forcing via ip...

Dynamic reference, right-hand side of function
Hi! Thanks for the replies! I understand people more accustomed to R doesn't like looping much, and that thinking about loops is something I do since I worked with Stata a lot. The syntax from Peter Dalgaard was really clever, and I learned a lot from it, even though it didn't solve my problem (I guess it wasn't very well explained). My problem was basically that I have a data matrix
