I am wondering if there is a way I can setup permission on directories in the directory that I have setup for samba shares so that no one can move or delete them. The problem I am having of late is that someone from within windows will move the directories around . I think they do it not knowing they are doing it. Its happened several times of late now. i just upgraded to samba 2.2.3a on a suse box, 7.3. when i go in an add the uses to the server again for samba logins then try an set the password it errors out an says can not change password. in result i have a broken samba server. im glad this was just my test bench machine 1st. has anyone else had this problem, also anyone know of any rpm for samba 2.2.3a for suse. thanks. jack
