Corrupted userid in mail folders
...ges all the time. One moment a dir belongs to roland:Domain Users and the next moment it's marjou:elahyl. The group and userid change, causing absolute havoc with mail delivery as wrong mail lands in people's mailboxes and users cannot be authenticated. My senior support technician is on honeymoon so I'm stuck. Restarting services makes no difference. If I run "getent passwd username" the results are 100% correct. Also for "getend group groupname". Has anynone expereinced this or know of a fix. I'm somewhat clueless on some aspects, like I cannot check the ver...

wxGrid Event handling work around?
Hi wxRuby gurus, I remember a while back, Zach Dennis was working on a mini Spreadsheet app using wxGrid when the issue of lack of wxGrid event handling was discussed. I think Kevin (or Assaph?) had suggested some workarounds until the Swig based version is out. Could not figure out from the archives exactly what the final resolution was, but I am stuck at the same spot and am desperately in need

hard_breaks issues
Hello, I''m new to this list, so first of all, many thanks to RedCloth''s developers, it really helps me in many ruby apps :-) I post here because I''d like to have a clear view on "hard_breaks" related issues. I saw old references on the web and on the archives on this ML, I''d like a fresh view ! It seems that RedCloth 3.0.4 does not handle

Linux World Expo 2004 in SF
The cAos Foundation and hosted projects have been granted a booth in the Dot Org Pavilion of Linux World Expo in SF this August. If you are a developer or contributor of the project and would like to help staff the both, please send me a private email so we can coordinate. I don't have the actual numbers of Exhibitor badges that we can get yet, but I would assume it is not many. This means

GSSAPI Key Exchange Patch for OpenSSH 5.2p1
Somewhat belatedly, I'm pleased to announce the availability of my GSSAPI key exchange patches for OpenSSH 5.2p1. Apologies for the delay in getting these out, a honeymoon, followed by the pressure of work, made the first half of this year rather busy! Whilst OpenSSH contains support for GSSAPI user authentication, this still relies upon SSH host keys to authenticate the server to the user. For sites with a deployed Kerberos infrastructure this adds an addit...

NFS deadlock on 9.2-Beta1
Two machines (NFS Server: running ZFS / Client: disk-less), both are running FreeBSD r253506. The NFS client starts to deadlock processes within a few hours. It usually gets worse from there on. The processes stay in "D" state. I haven't been able to reproduce it when I want it to happen. I only have to wait a few hours until the deadlocks occur when traffic to the client machine

compression at zfs filesystem creation
Hi, I just installed 2009.06 and found that compression isn''t enabled by default when filesystems are created. Does is make sense to have an RFE open for this? (I''ll open one tonight if need be.) We keep telling people to turn on compression. Are there any situations where turning on compression doesn''t make sense, like rpool/swap? what about rpool/dump? Thanks, ~~sa
