Where should I put an Bugreport of OggEnc
...this "european characters" are inside the track information, then OggEnc v1.0.2 repleced them by an "#". The Filename is fine, but the tag is always wrecked. Encoding with Lame is Okay. Those charakters are well done. With oggenc I have to repair all tracks with easytag. :-( Heino

Rendering objects directly via <%= render @some_object %>
...er @some_object %> corresponds to <%= render :partial => @partial, :locals=> {:foo => @foo, :baa => @baa} %> Now imagine having to repeat this multiple times - and then trying to find a typo... ---------------- The source and documentation is still avalible at http://www.heino.gehlsen.dk/software/ruby/rails/plugins/renjects/ NB. Since my initial post, I have changed the classes into modules, so that _any_ module could be rendered by extending these modules. Kind regards Heino H. Gehlsen Heino H. rsync without syncing file permissions under W2K

Rendering objects

I have already made a functional plugin using only 66 lines of actual code (well, actually only 28, but I thought a few basic helpers would be nice ;-), and I would really like some feedback? Source and documentation is avalible at http://www.heino.gehlsen.dk/software/ruby/rails/plugins/renjects/. The documentation includes a brief introduction to the concept of Rendjets - and of cause a few small examples, which show how to use them. To some, the examples will perhaps at first sight seem at bit too complex, but think code reuse and easie...

Are recursive snapshot destroy and rename atomic too?
In another thread recursive snapshot creation was found atomic so that it is done quickly, and more important, all at once or nothing at all. Do you know if recursive destroying and renaming of snapshots are atomic too? Regards Henrik Heino

Samba segs when serving files from a windows partition on OpenBSD-4.2
Hi, Before I file a bug report, I just wanted to check that samba is capable of serving files from a FAT32 partition. I have here an OpenBSD-4.2 i386 machine here with a second disk containting files that I will be sharing via both NFS and samba. The NFS share work great, but samba seg faults upon a windows client connecting. This occurs when using the OpenBSD package, and also when built from

Possible flaw in Vorbis
Hello! I found a couple of samples which have some flaws. I think the ride bell in this sample has pre-echo (if that's the name for what I'm talking about). It occurs at least on bitrates 128-192. The sample is at: http://at21ya.jamsankoski.fi:4000/ Thanks for Vorbis! --- >8 ---- List archives: http://www.xiph.org/archives/ Ogg project homepage: http://www.xiph.org/ogg/ To
