Nodejs010 Packages giving unresolved dependency error when building the nodejs packages
Hi, I am trying to built an ISO with nodejs010 packages but when I run the command "repoclosure -a x86_64 -r <local-repository-name>" to check its further dependencies, it is giving unresolved dependencies error. Example: package: nodejs010-node-gyp-3.2.0-2.el7.centos.noarch from Harman (it's a local repo name) unresolved deps: npm(minimatch) < 0:4 npm(minimatch) >= 0:3 nodejs(engine) >= 0:0.8.0 In ISO we have nodejs010-nodejs-minimatch-3.0.2-1.el7 but it is giving error that npm(minimatch) < 0.4 or npm(minimatch) >= 0:3 and on mirror.centos.or...

Problem with setting up remote indexing
Hello, I have been trying to set up the remote indexing for acts_as_ferret and followed the guide here: http://projects.jkraemer.net/acts_as_ferret/wiki/DrbServer I added :remote => true to my models and then specified host and port for the production environment. After defining the host/port for production, I tried to run my development server and received the following error:

At first I thought that some columns might not be indexed properly but doing login:bob returns me with the user bob, so I don''t think that it''s indexing problem anymore. Any idea? "zfs send" from solaris 10/08 to "zfs receive" on solaris 10/09
I built a fileserver on solaris 10u6 (10/08) intending to back it up to another server via zfs send | ssh othermachine ''zfs receive'' However, the new server is too new for 10u6 (10/08) and requires a later version of solaris . presently available is 10u8 (10/09) Is it crazy for me to try the send/receive with these two different versions of OSes? Is it possible the

dtracing a forked process OR dynamic library
Hi, I am tracking down a problem and would like to know how I can follow a forked process with my dtrace script, or how I can trace a dynamic library. Here is the problem. I am tracing dtlogin, and specifically I am trying to determine what error libpkcs11`<routine> is returning. It turns out dtlogin forks a lot of processes, and I believe the second forked process is the one that winds

How we can remove these lines from the console? Please suggest. Thanks & Regards, Shagun

SAS/short stroking vs. SSDs for ZIL
Hi, as I have learned from the discussion about which SSD to use as ZIL drives, I stumbled across this article, that discusses short stroking for increasing IOPs on SAS and SATA drives: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/short-stroking-hdd,2157.html Now, I am wondering if using a mirror of such 15k SAS drives would be a good-enough fit for a ZIL on a zpool that is mainly used for file

factanal
# I have a question about how factanal is calculating the regression factor # scores based on an oblique rotation (promax) of the factors. # # As is explained in the help file, regression factor scores are # obtained as # # hat f = Lambda' Sigma^-1 x # # However, according to Harman's "Modern Factor Analysis" (e.g. second # edition, pp. 351-352) the formula is # # hat f = Phi Lambda' Sigma^-1 x, # # where Phi is the correlation between factors. Of course, for orthogonal # rotations the formulas are identical because in this case Phi=I. # # Let me illustrat...

Dtrace starts very slowly on T5440
Hi all, We just got a shiny new T5440, and one of the first things I noticed (besides the insane number of hardware contexts), is that dtrace takes 30 seconds to a minute to fire up scripts with 5-6 probes, where our T5220 usually takes under a second. Shutdown is similar, though slightly faster. This is mostly annoying because it takes so long to attach that it''s hard to tell when

Anyone knows how microsoft AEC can deal with mismatches between clocks of capture and render streams?
Hi all, We all know that mismatch between clocks of ADCs of far-end voice and near-end voice is not allowed in a time-domain or frequency-domain LMS based AEC system. It means that capture and render audio streams must be synchronized to a same sample rate. However, I found that this restriction is removed in microsoft AEC from Windows XP SP1. Anyone knows how microsoft AEC do it? This technology

libvirt + openvswitch, <parameters interfaceid='x'/> seems less-than-useful?
Hey folks, I'm working on setting up a Cuckoo sandbox malware lab at home, and can't seem to get openvswitch and libvirt to work together as-documented. I'm not subscribed to the list, so please reply-all. Thanks in advance! I've debugged this, and I think the interfaceid stuff in network XML isn't doing much besides setting a custom interfaceid in an OpenVSwitch table that
