xapi for centOS 6.6
Hi,
I am a masters student at IIIT Hyderabad, India. I am writing a GOSC
proposal for CentOS organization. It's about delivering a custom installer
ISO which delivers Xen 4.4 stack on CentOS 6.
full proposal:

I want to port xapi on CentOS 6 as part of it. There has been some previous
efforts to port xapi on CentOS 6 but nothing official, as follows:

free to add them. Don't forget to add yourself as a mentor too, if
possible. Keep in mind, that they should be well doable within the GSoC
timeframe. Also ideas have to be mainly about coding, not documentation.
More info:

Let's make Icecast even better and help some students get involved in
open source!
Cheers

About building xapi packages for CentOS; I was able to build all xenserver
packages with xenserver build root. (https://github.com/xenserver/buildroot)
on CentOS 6.6 . This buildroot uses Xen4CentOS repo for xen packages, but
it uses custom repo for Ocaml(4.01).

Accepted orgs are due to be announced on March 2nd, and students can
apply between March 16th and 27th, but the keen ones have already
started to talk to orgs (as you've probably noticed).
The full timeline is here:

The main priorities right now are:
* Refreshing the list of project ideas. I've already done a fair bit
of cleaning up, and I'm in the process of adding some ideas we
brainstormed at the mentor summit, but the better the breadth and
depth of ideas we have, the more likely we ar...

[LLVMdev] Google Summer of Code
+Easily, some of the code snippets end up being copied dozens of
+times, which leads to worse maintainability, understandability and logical
+design.
The project description stresses code maintainability and logical design more than bug finding due to omissions in copy and pasted code. Reading this made me think of a check that would suggest people to replace copy and pasted code with a function

...y and at most one of them
will be accepted by GSoC.
Personally, I do prefer the second project since I'm more familiar with
that field and the technique (static instrumentation) it uses.
According to the timeline of GSoC
<https://www.google-melange.com/gsoc/document/show/gsoc_program/google/gsoc2015/help_page>,
the accepted proposals will only be announced at 27 April. Is it too late
since I do not know which project will be selected or even none of them
will be accepted until then?
Otherwise, will the mentors know the decision earlier (e.g., at 15 April
after the slot is allocated to organ...

[LLVMdev] [GSoC] Applying for GSoC 2015
Hello Daniel,
Thank you for your comments and sorry for my mistakes, I'll revise them.
And I'll for sure read the paper you mentioned and survey the recent
researches before deciding the implementation technique.
To George:
May I know the exact plan of your attempt for making cfl-aa interprocedural?
I do think that this is the most valuable part of my proposal, but that
makes no sense to
