...Postfix receiving the messages and Dovecot acting as a LMTP and IMAP server. Mailboxes are in the Maildir format on disk. Customers get the messages on login, a PHP script connects to the mail account associated with their ID via IMAP and sends unseen messages in the form of a JSON. Best regards, gnd/

Massive alias / bulk delivery problem
Yes you are right, i realized that just after i sent the email, that it was a bit in haste. anyway, if there is anyway how to optimize dovecot for effective delivery of 20k+ emails within a few minutes, id be glad to know. .. and i will have to ask the same q at postfix mailinglists gnd/ On 7/14/20 8:12 PM, John Stoffel wrote: > > gnd> we are experimenting with using Dovecot as part of a simplified > gnd> mail stack with SQL for a internal messaging / notification > gnd> system for our customers. Unitek iZi UPS 525
Hi everybody, I've got an Unitek iZi UPS 525 with a serial interface. The supplied cable looks fairly simple: RX->RX , TX->TX and GND->GND. Using this cable and Minicom with 2400 8N1 I'm able to issue commands to the UPS using the "Megatec Protocol" http://www.networkupstools.org/protocols/megatec.html so I know the UPS is fairly "intelligent" :-) and the serial connection works. Questions: 1. Whi...

[OT] Oldest Telephone
...agneto with your right hand to signal the switchboard. The two dry cells inside are dated 1935, and I'm throwing them away because they're leaking acid. Wouldn't it be a kick to be able to ring this phone from an * server and have a conversation. There are several lugs inside: L1, GND, L2, COND (no condenser installed), E, and K. And of course the two battery lugs. Does anyone know anything at all about this set? I realize the CO supplies battery instead of the telephone, but can the phone be modified? Also, am I going to blow a FXS card if I don't get it right? Chee...

APC Backups Pro Low Batt
It there a way to get the genericups driver to set a output on the serial port? On the APC BackupPro the will pull the BattLow line low with a pull down resistor it's up to you to from the PC side to pull the line high with a pullup resistor from one of the RS232 output pins. Then monitor the line with another pin. Regards Rabie -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was

Patch to support GE EP series
...0R UPS. At first I feared it's not supported at all, but after digging in I found out that it's supported by the 'blazer' driver. The UPS has both RS232 and USB connection. To use the RS232 connection, I had to use the 'cablepower = none' as the UPS is using only RX, TX and GND pins. So my 'usp.conf' was a bit like that: > [myups] > driver = blazer_ser > port = /dev/ttyS0 > cablepower = none > desc = "Local UPS" To use the USB connection required a bit more work, but I eventually found out what it takes:...

UPS cooling
I've kludged together a cooling solution for my UPS - one USB cable, one 8cm fan from an old unused computer (nominally 12V, but running it at 5V is fine), two short pieces of copper wire and a few fragments of power cable insulation to hold the wires in place against the 5V and GND pins (let's just say that shorting 5V with a data pin doesn't sound like a good idea to me). Leaving it pointed at one of my UPS's air vents, I get a reported 20?C drop in temperature; the front of the UPS case does indeed feel noticeably cooler. I don't recall if there's a fan...

Unitek ALPHA 1200 Sx USB cable
I've just acquired a Unitek ALPHA 1200 Sx UPS to replace an older serial UPS that's been working well with NUT for years. Could anyone with a Unitek tell me what the pinout on the 10P10C plug is so I can make up a cable? Thanks.

Query about tdm410 cards
...onnect to P8 just behind the molex connector on the tdm410. can any one here confirm this, or have any info on the pwr2400b - ie how it connects to the cards. The web site is a bit devoid of the information and all the photo's are not clear. this would make my life rather simple, I have 12V + GND to supply the card - seems like people have done this with a TDM400, unfortunately the 410 is longer .... ...ction. :) The custom cable with the optiups driver didn't work out by the way. I probably should've checked the original cable first... if it's a standard RS232 DB9 connection, I might have fried something now when connecting UPS DSR (Input) to PC Tx and UPS DTR and RTS (Output) to PC GND. (Okay, after researching the pins it sounds to me as like nothing too serious _should_ have happened) Well, you're always more clever after you fucked up. :D Florian -- () ascii ribbon campaign - stop html mail www.asciiribbon.org /\ www.the-compiler.org | I love long mails http://emai...

Serial terminal issues
I can't seem to get my serial terminal to work with my new system. I had a serial terminal connected to my old system that worked great and copied /boot.config, /boot/loader.conf and /etc/ttys settings over from it. The new system has a Gigabyte GA970A-UD3 board with just a serial header on the board. I bought a serial connector backplate in an electronics store and connected it to the

How do I approach this problem?
I'm having a problem that I hope those with greater experience might have some ideas on. I live up in the mountains where the power is ill-conditioned. Transients which would cause a computer to reboot occur on a daily basis. Power failures are frequent and can last anywhere from five minutes to five days. I have all my computers on UPSs so the first two problems are solved. I have a
