bug in parsing the 'username map' in 3.0.5pre1
Hi Jerry et al, the parsing of the 'username map' file seems to be broken in 3.0.5pre1 and a few earlier releases. The '!' at the beginning of a line is ignored. Something like !lp = lp !chbeyer = chbeyer !guest = guest nobody = * doesn't work anymore :-( from the man page: [ snip ] If any line begins with an '!' then the processing will stop

Domain name lookup combinations setting?

Do I need to change something so that it tries more combinations or something? I thought just passwords were case sensitive. DFS question
Was wondering if someone could tell me if this is correct. I want to set up some DFS shares. I have 3 servers with SAMBA/LDAP on them. My first is basically my PDC and the other two are my BDCs. I assume that I will have to set all of this up on each server, so that no matter which server catches the logon, the logon script will get run. Also, if one of the servers was to go down for a

samba passwords gone haywire since upgrade (3.0.0-1)
