samba share permission
hi, ? i am very new to samba and have run into an issue with setting up directory/file permissions. ? i have a nfs share on redhat 6 linux server that a group of users will share. basically each user will run their own respective jobs and save the logs in this share. my issue is that? all of the users are able to delete each others files, which i do not want ? can somebody please help me setup

Pre-echo like noises on Beta4
Hi, there. Although I'm not a hacker at all, I noticed an audible noise on Beta 4 encoded files. So, I'd like to report it here. I ripped and encoded 'A Day Without Rain' on the album with the same name By Enya into Vorbis using Oggenc and Oggdrop Beta 4 from the Vorbis site. (You know, she is quite an encoder-killer.) RELENG_7_1: bce driver change generating too much interrupts ?
Since last upgrade, I see much more CPU time "eated" by interrupts (at least 10% cpu in top) (see http://dgeo.perso.ec-marseille.fr/cpu-week.png) The server behave correctly (Or seems to?), and high interrupt number seems to come from bce cards (source: systat -vmstat) I just upgraded from "RELENG_7 Mon Sep 8 12:33:06 CEST 2008" to "RELENG_7_1 Sat Nov 29 16:20:35 CET

Using SMB for web authentication
Hello, I have apache web server running on unix system. Then we have lots of users who only have accounts on our NT-domain. I'd like to do user&group authentications from our NT-domain using samba/SMBlib to do the actual authentication. Now does anyone know if there are already such systems available?
