bridge interfaces in dom0
...configure
an IP address on dom0 the bridge seems to not be usable from a guest domain.
My motivation for this is that dom0 has 4 interfaces which could be on
4 networks. I
didn''t want to assign IP addresses for dom0 on ALL of these networks.
So am I missing something? Thanks.

Compiling on Tru64
So, before I waste another couple of hours at this, is it possible to compile Samba 3.0.x on Tru64 at all?
If so, can you tell me what the ./configure switches are?
Thanks,

So it looks like the iSCSI connection was dropped at 12:06:04 and reestablished
at 12:07:44. But during this time the guests who''s disks were on the iSCSI LUNs
get IO errors and do not recover. Here is what I got when I connected

"multiple response" errors in log.nmb
...ant?
Does it affect performance?
Is there anything I can do about it? Other than editing the source to
get rid of the error? I'm not familiar with WINS... is the problem on
the NT server or the Samba server?
Any questions I'm forgetting? :)
Thanks for your time.

Listing all users in a remote Samba server
Hi,
I'm trying to develop a service for retrieving the entire user list of a
remote samba server. The expected result is the same expected from the
use of the samba command:
net rpc user
The service is coupled with one only request: should be written using
Perl language. I have search at the internet and I have read a lot of
documentation but I have no idea on how should I do it. Any

Automatically create profile directory
I have my Samba PDC setup to use roaming profiles. If the user's profile
directory exists (ex: /var/lib/samba/profiles/someuser) with the correct
permissions and ownership then it works fine.
However, I expect (incorrectly?) that Samba would auto-create the user's
profile directory the first time the user logged in. Am I wrong or have I
missed something?
Thanks,
