portaudit
Any reason why portaudit and its associated infrastructure was not announced to this list or security-notifications? I recently discovered it, and discovered the feature was added to bsd.port.mk in the beginning of feburary. Seeing as the security officer apparently (without announcement) no longer issues security notices (SNs) for ports, I am assuming that portaudit has replaced SNs entirely, and that we should rely on that for ports operational security? I'm not subscribed to -ports, -questions, or -current, whi...

[LLVMdev] [cfe-dev] LLVM 3.6 update
Could we aim for mid/late January? I'd like our target triple problems to be sorted out for LLVM 3.6 if I can and early-January doesn't leave many working days to get that finished. Especially given that many people take some holiday around Christmas and New Year. > -----Original Message----- > From: llvmdev-bounces at cs.uiuc.edu [mailto:llvmdev-bounces at cs.uiuc.edu] > On

Live Webcast in OGG
...modems/ISPs are not getting a reliable stream. This is the motivation to move to a more efficient format, so I can reduce the bitrate. I expect some crosstalk as long as it isn't too distracting. [ANNOUNCE] Samba 4.0.0alpha8
...andards compliant LDAP servers (including OpenLDAP), and we are working on modules to map between AD-like behaviours and this backend. We are aiming for Samba 4 to be powerful frontend to large directories. CHANGES SINCE alpha7 ===================== In the time since Samba4 alpha7 was released in Feburary 2009, Samba has continued to evolve, but you may particularly notice these areas (in no particular order): Samba4 now includes the full AD schema, as used in Microsoft Windows 2008 LDB (the core Samba4 database library) now handles large number of users and groups much more efficiently These...
