[Call for Volunteers] Bug triaging
...r components with few reported bugs, a single triager may suffice. For the high-traffic components, we’ll probably need multiple volunteers. I’ve provided the list of product/components below that had bugs reported against in 2018, together with how many bugs were reported against them this year so far, as an indication for which components may need more volunteers. I do want to highlight the “new-bugs/new bugs”, “clang/-New Bugs” components as those tend to be components people file bugs against if they don’t have a clue which part of clang/llvm is causing the issue they’re seeing. I believe th...

Wine 1.3.26 no output from linux console to windows console
...thout any output to CMD Conclusion: Linux programs are starting in wineconsole cmd but there is no reply from them in cmd. When I start wineconsole cmd in Kconsole the output of ls -l is redirected to kconsole, - I see the file list in kconsole but not in CMD 2. The second problem is related to FAR manager, when I start a command from FAR command line a new console window is popped up and closed immediately after the command is executed, no output in FAR console window as well. I tried different combinations - nothing seems to help. Is it a bug? Does anyone know about any solutions? Thanks.

since CentOS 5.6 upgrade, squid crashes
Hi, I have recently upgraded our web proxy to CentOS 5.6. Before the upgrade, squid was running fine. Since the upgrade, sometimes, squid crashes: > [root at stargate ~]# service squid status > squid dead but pid file exists Looking at log files, I think it could be related to logrotate stuff, > -rw-r----- 1 squid squid 42713088 May 3 04:02 store.log > -rw-r----- 1 squid squid

Acoustic echo cancellation
Simply to say, in a quiet room, you can play a impulse signal and then find it's impulse response signal from the microphone. For example, if the delay between the impulse signal and its response signal range from 500 to 3000 cycles, you can buffer the far-end signal to 0-300 cycles and set the filter length to 4000. It is also called to align far-end signal and near-end signal. BTW: Speex AEC is sensiive to mismatch between sample rates of capturing and rendering. But most low-cost computer soundcards have this problem. At 2011-04-21 03:00:01?sp...

Why "has fallen too far behind"?

"The man with two clocks knoweth not the time." The audio source clock does not match the audio destination clock, and sooner or later, something needs to "give." This causes buffer under/over flows. The ICY protocol has no provision for timestamps which can...
