Twinview and wine explorer /desktop
The command I run (important bits):- Code: wine explorer /desktop=civ4,1280x800 Civ4BeyondSword.exe My system has twinview running, an external monitor (1280x1024) and my laptop LCD (1280x800). Gnome sees it as one large monitor of 2560x1024, my monitor is on the left, my LCD on the right. Even though I start wine from the laptop monitor, it starts up (with indicated resolution) on the

Networking problem on virtualized pfSense firewall
...rtualized pfsense firewall. My hw host is Ubuntu 12.04 fully updated, with two bridges br0 (LAN) and br1 (WAN). pfSense is a KVM guest with the two interfaces in virtio mode. When I run pfSense as fw, the host doesn't seem capable of doing tcp connections outside. I can ping any internal and exernal host, but when I try telnetting 25 or 80 outside it won't work. Every other host in the LAN can surf and make every kind of connection outside and inside, just the host cannot. At fist I thought it was a pfSense problem, because if I run another VM guest with another firewall the host can conn...

DNAT or SNAT or both?
I have an internal (10.16.0.0/24) network which is routed out via a proxy on port 80 only, this proxy is then routed to an upstream proxy on port 8080, this then runs through a cluster of caching (squid) proxies and then finally, goes out to the internet. As there are a cluster of squid proxies, the IP of an internet-request from the internal LAN is never the same, it changes to match the proxy

[LLVMdev] Re:question about Insert callInst to call a function in library
...rite a Pass in external library. You know for the Pass, it will use LLVM methods. I can write a pass but I just don't know how to put the pass into external library and insert CallInst to call it like llvm_start_func_profiling. I mean I could insert a CallInst into *.bc to call function in the exernal library, but is it possible that the function in library will use LLVM method and will use itself bytecode file as input file? for example: m.bc is orignal bytecode. mutated bytecode is m1.bc. I would like to insert a CallInst to call decode function to recover original bytecode m.bc. Actually,...

Solution to connect an audio system to MeetMe
Hi list, I have a customer which will organize a conference in a big meeting room which has a sound system. He would like to connect this sound system to a MeetMe room so participant in the MeetMe can act as if they where on site. My idea is to take a barbone or Notebook, connect it to the sound system using the soundcard and run a softphone on it. Does some of you already have success in

Date comparisons
I occasionally get this error: 1) ''A puzzle once featured, should no longer be nominated'' FAILED expected: Sun May 04 09:10:26 -0700 2008, got: Sun May 04 09:10:26 -0700 2008 (using ==) ./spec/models/puzzle_spec.rb:180: So, the dates looks the same to me. Any ideas for how to debug? Joe

[Bug 14597] New: randr12 failures on 12" powerbooks, and workarounds
...oks. I decided to have a good look at it and tried to find the issues by comparing registers in the randr and non-randr state. OpenFirmware posts the card and by default sets up a 1024x768 mode, only 8 bit color however. For some reason, powerbooks have the internal LVDS on CRTC1. When plugging an exernal analog TFT screen, it flashes white during OF init, but stays black after that. randr2 was able to correctly recognize it. The problem seemed only to happen with the internal LVDS. Post of BIOS image, Xorg log, reg traces and initial patch follow. Danny -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.freede...
