Setting graphical parameters
Hi guys... I have problem with this excersise... Consider the pressure data frame again. (a) Plot pressure against temperature, and use the following command to pass a curve through these data: > curve((0.168 + 0.007*x)?(20/3), from=0, to=400, add=TRUE) (b) Now, apply the power transformation y3/20 to the pressure data values. Plot the...

Winelibs question.....
..." would be required, primarily to resolve the entrypoint, but also to deal with LoadLibrary, and exports if I were attempting to produce a "runtime linked" library. O.K. so I'm not trying to do the latter. I assume, athough it's not *that* clear to me that the product of the excersise is a straight elf binary that I can run from a prompt. I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be doing. [Shocked] Perhaps I am supposed to be linking directly with the ".so" (created from the original winemaker parse/make process) at run time, in a new elf binary that I have yet to c...

sudoku
Any doubts about R's big-league status should be put to rest, now that we have a Sudoku Puzzle Solver. Take that, SAS! See package "sudoku" on CRAN. The package could really use a puzzle generator -- contributors are welcome! -- David Brahm (brahm at alum.mit.edu) [[alternative HTML version deleted]] _______________________________________________ R-packages mailing list

Wine esound/esd sound output

Are there any possibilities to further tweak the esound settings? The software in question is windows educational software which uses audio for several excersises. Supplementary Group Changes
Is there a signal that can be sent to the smbd process, or some other method to tell smbd to reload the user's supplementary unix groups? We do not use Windows Domains and all access to files is controlled using Linux ACLs and supplementary groups defined using a web interface. Currently, when a new posix group is created and given access to a folder, the members of the group do not gain

4.1.12: ldapcmp differences on attribute 'whenChanged'
Hi all, I have just updated our dc's from sernet 4.1.11 to sernet 4.1.12. And suddenly since that update, we're getting many ldapcmp failures on the attribute 'whenChanged'. In 4.1.11 life was good, and ldapcmp reported no differences at all. Here is a sample: (dc2 <-> dc3) Comparing: 'CN=podcast,CN=Users,DC=samba,DC=company,DC=com' [ldap://dc2]
