UTStarcom F1000 - WLAN connection unreliable

appropriate IP address - to no avail. I had both phones turned on at
times, or only one, that would not make a difference.
This occurs with both phones, and on Accesspoints from Buffalo(OpenWRT),
Fon (LaFonera), AVM (FritzBoxFon 7050), and T-Com (Eumex something). I
did not cross-test all possible combinations - that would be a lot - but
quite some.
Does anyone know of those problems, and possibly have a solution? Or
just a good idea?
Is there a "known reliable setup"? Would anyone care to post what makes
his asterisk work with the F1...

I use an AVM Fritz!classic ISA card with the fcclassic kernel
module on linux 2.6.16, asterisk version 1.2.4 on Debian unstable.
To use the AVM card with asterisk I compiled the latest cvs tree of
chan-capi-cm. The hardware pbx is a T-Eumex 312 (product of the
german Telekom).
What I basically do is pretending asterisk is an original isdn
phone connected to the hardware pbx and it should send the proper
key presses that the hardware pbx understands. E.g. I'd like to
forward a call. Therefore asterisk would have to press "hol...
