Therefore: has anyone heard of a java API (like SAS has it's Java API for enterprise integration) or a Service we can call (e.g. a web service, a http invoker service , ...), ... ? The ideal solution -to my view- would be to integrate it with ESB functionality (e.g. Mule: http://www.mulesource.org/display/COMMUNITY/Home). I need to use some Partial Least Squares (PLS) regression, but I have not seen this option on the R-project. translation of the matlab PPVAL function
Hello, I am trying to translate a matlab program into R, and I have some problems to find out how to translate the PPVAL function. I know that ppval(pp,xx) returns the value at the points xx of the piecewise polynomial contained in pp( constructed by spline), but I don't know how to do the same thing in R. rpmbuild question.
I am attempting to build from a src.rpm (knowing very little about rpm at all) and the spec file notes that the architecture should be set on the command line: > # platform defines - set one below or define the build_xxx on the command line Now. My question is this, how does one do this using rpmbuild? The syntax rpmbuild --target centos4 package.src.rpm seemingly has no effect.

Why Wouldn't I Use Rails
I am starting a large project and still selecting what framework to use. Rather than ask brand x what is wrong with brand y, I am more interested in self confession. Dear all, I have recently installed R0.63.2. under Win95. and with it a number of contributed packages. The instructions for adding packages was to unzip the files into the "directory rw0632\library. They are then available for use." However, when I tried one of the function below, I got a Error: couldn't find function "cclust".
