Hi samba-admins, the PDC join with w2k prof.(SP2) on samba alpha 12 works fine. Thank you Andrew for the 'use spnego = no' config-para. Last week, Jammer Pro6 (a midi music program) could save its files just fine. Today, I get that "program closing" wine errorbox and that's that. What might be causing this? Running Debian Sid.

Hi, i set up samba on linux and from this site everything works well. I can ping my NT hosts with the ip-adress and with the netbios-name. From NT i can only ping the linux server with its ip-adress and not with its netbios-name. The linux server does not appear in the network surroundings. Linux and NT are in the same class-c network and subnet. Where is my mistake?? Andreas --------------

Hi guys, After a few days of webrick seeming to use up a ton of ram (the longer it was running, the more ram); izayoi on #rubyonrails kindly suggested changing Dependencies.mechanism in development.rb to :require which appears to have fixed the prob - at the expense of having to restart webrick after making changes to .rb files. Is this a known issue, or is there an alternative solution?
