...is a bug in the kernel, a problem with the BIOS, bad hardware, a completely random stroke of bad luck or a cosmic sign. Happy it works now. ...o rebuild Xen from source in order to obtain the xen.efi binary, and I'm not sure how to do that. Am I on the right path? Any tips on how to recompile Xen to get xen.efi binary? Hi, In general, PV tends not to be supported in newer distribution releases. This is mostly due to HVM performance and flexibility nowadays, which just was not the case back in the days when PV ruled.
