cowloop and XEN - doesn`t work for me
...wloop/) with XEN ?
i want to use this for saving diskspace and time for copying rootfs-images.
the module compiles and loads fine (was done by a colleague)

cowloop - initialized
after installation and creating the device nodes i see the control device like this:
xen2:/tmp# ls -la /dev/cow/ctl
brw-r----- 1 root root 241, 255 2006-03-03 12:49 /dev/cow/ctl
but when i use cowdev, it fails :
xen2:/tmp# cowdev -a /tmp/test.ro /tmp/test.cow
/dev/...

Copy on write loop block driver
I am running on the Centos 6.5 x86_64 boot disk.
# uname -a

I have been running ddrescue for a while and now it is time to check the progress.
I want to take the oldhd.img output from ddrescue and load it to satrt performing recovery (LVM, then filesystem) but I want to do a copy

cow implementation
Has any one had any success with cow implementation in xen ? I found this
somewhere http://www.atconsultancy.nl/cowloop/, has anyone tried it out with
xen ?
