[PATCH 1/2] drm/fb_helper: Add drm_fb_helper_output_poll_changed_with_rpm()
...hed, the HPD source is quiesced. So it looks like drm_dp_mst_link_probe_work() can only ever run while the GPU is runtime resumed, it never runs while the GPU is runtime suspended. This means that you don't have to acquire any runtime PM references in or below drm_dp_mst_link_probe_work(). Au contraire, you must not acquire any because it will deadlock while the GPU is runtime suspending. If there are functions which are called from drm_dp_mst_link_probe_work() as well as from other contexts, and those other contexts need a runtime PM ref to be acquired, you need to acquire the runtime PM ref co...

Domains on different IPs
I want to supply separate Letsencrypt certificates for each virtual domain and seeing that SNI does not work I need to allocate separate IPs. Could anyone give some pointers, or keywords to search for, on... a) how to make dovecot listen for different domains on different IPs? b) how to configure separate SSL certs for each of these IPs?

That's a shame, and worth considering as a future feature. Shoutcast Server has this as an option, and it's quite useful to see what countries (domain extensions) your listeners are from. ActiveSchema?
I aplaude all the work that''s been done on RoR, but I''m a bit confused as to why ActiveRecord has the capability to easily create tables, but does not provide a mechanism to do this automatically. I found some information about ActiveSchema, but it''s listed as being in the planning stage. One key point to using Ruby is the ability to prototype rapidly, and not

Activate DVI-I behind KVM on FX 5200
Hi folks, I don't seem to be able to enable the DVI-I output of an old FX 5200 behind a KVM switch. Autodetection works fine if the FX 5200 DVI output is switched to the monitor, but when it is not, I have not found a way to force-enable it. Here is what I tried: *) used the video=DVI-I-1:1280x1024-24 at 60e kernel parameter (framebuffer still sits at 1024x768) *) used "options

Any quiet 24 port POE switches out there?
I have an upcoming install which places the switch close to some employees in a quiet work environment. Can anyone recommend a quiet 24 port POE switch? The Linksys SRW224P behind me right now would be objectionable, I'm sure. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:

Samba vs. NetAppliance
Hi, I'm debating purchasing a NetAppliance fileserver that does native CIFS. Below is a URL to a NetAppliance authored paper regarding performance. One of the sections compares NFS to CIFS and talks about Samba. Can anyone dispute any of this? Is there any reason besides price that I should stick with Samba? -Ed Ed Sanborn (978) 691-6496 Northchurch

I forgot. Why do we hate* Java?
Hi, I''ve started reading some Java books. Gasp! What makes website development with Java so bad? I haven''t looked at Struts but I''m reading about Hibernate. Compared to ActiveRecord, Hibernate seems like some extra typing to explicitly define the model fields, getters and setters. I know that these are things that you can do in ActiveRecord when things get complicated
