Can't delete emails from or write replies to Inbox
Hi, I'm running Dovecot and Thunderbird, with 2 separate accounts (business and personal). One operates fine, but the other one won't allow me to write replies to the Inbox (so that I can track current threads), and if I move emails to another folder, it copies them instead. New emails do appear in the Inbox. I've checked the permissions on the two Inboxes, and they are the same

validates_format_of :something, :with => /REGEX/
Hi all, I''m hoping to stir the Rails pot a little bit here, so please go easy with me ;-) Regular Expressions is the most densely inhumane language construct ever invented in any ''civilisation'', and the fact that we still have to dirty our minds with this in Rails is something that (sh/c)ould ideally be corrected in Rails (preferably before the release of 1.2 (?)) or in the form of a plugin. A very common scenario in Rails models are: validates_format_of :name,...

The Perils of PowerPoint
Hi all, Below is a URL for an editorial published today in our local newspaper, the Minneapolis StarTribune. It was originally published in the Washington Post a couple of days ago: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2005/08/29/AR2005082901444.html but that site requires registration. The 'Strib" site seems to be open for the moment:

bug in rc2: floor1.c
Hello, There is a bug in the current version of vorbis/lib/floor1.c. The line that says:- qsort(sortpointer,n,sizeof(int),icomp); should be:- qsort(sortpointer,n,sizeof(int *),icomp); But somebody probably fixed that already. :) Also, I'd like to know how I can encode a file using the channel coupling modes. oggenc doesn't have an option for that yet. Greetings,

One way audio internal
Hi All We have a strange issue with our hosted asterisk server running on Debian Internal calls btween extensions using g729 give one way audio As soon as we change the codec to ALAW the issues goes away. Any ideas how to fix this? Outbound calls via a trunk work fine with g729 Kind Regards Andrew Colin Converged Data (Pty) Ltd. Licensed Telecoms Operator : (0258/IECS/JAN/09)

Auto dialer scripts and software
A friend asked me for help to auto-dial and play a prerecorded message for a political campaign. I've briefly googled auto dialer scripts but haven't seen one that really stands out. Are there any free or cheap auto dial solutions that you nice folks recommend? Thanks in advance. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:

synonyms
Hi, Using ferret and acts_as_ferret. Great work. Is there a way to define some synonyms (searchable words that would not appear in the texts ? Like stop words, but instead of being removed from query and index, they would be added ;-) Can some synonyms be regexp ? I''d like for instance to have ? (oelig) be equivalent to oe in French. Or maybe an utf8 normalization could achieve

[non-statistics question]methodological problem
Good afternoon! As mentioned in the subject, my question regards more the methodological part that accompanies survey design and the statistical part that is involved. So, I have the following data: a<-data.frame (id_hh=c(1:5), strata=c(1,1,2,2,1), Nhstrata=c(100,100,200,200,100), Nrmemb=c(2,4,2,5,4)) a$ocmemb1<-c("wk","jl","st","jl","st")

DIDs anywhere but here?
Are there affordable DIDs (preferably IAX) available anywhere outside the US? I want to use it to meet ICANN requirements for providing a valid phone number, yet pre-empting some of the telemarketing calls my domain registrations generate. (Yes, I asked a similar question about 900# availability before). I'd prefer to have a number somewhere outside the NANP, preferably an asian country.

Use modprobe to find E1/T1 jumper setting on PRI card
Does anyone know if I could use modprobe command to find out rather than set the jumper on a Digium PRI card? I want to find out the jumper settings on the card without opening the box which will cause down time. Thanks. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:

What I am doing with Puppet.
Hi, Luke asked me if I was willing to share what I am doing with the Puppet user community. So here goes: I am using puppet to manage one host right now. While that isn''t a good advertisement for Puppet''s scaling capabilities, I find it interesting because I built my single node (personal mail, svn, ci and web server) with puppet where I could (clearly there was some

I too was curious about this, so I copied the text into Babel Fish, and this is the result: I miss of the 2/04/2007 to the 11/04/2007. I will answer your message as of my return. For any urgency, to contact Emmanuelle Parache Moga or C?dric Buzay. If this guy is really going to be out until November these messages will get rather tiresome...
