[PATCH node] Remove libvirt-cim
Since libvirt-cim is an alternate management tool, we're dropping it from the core ovirt-node image. It makes more sense as a plugin where all configuration and setup is kept separate to be used only by those that want the functionality. rhbz#727532 Signed-off-by: Mike Burns <mburns at redhat.com> --- recipe/common-pkgs.ks | 2 -- recipe/ovirt16-post.ks | 4 ----

virInitialize dumps core intermittently.
Hi, I have a host with 6 VMs set to autostart. When this host reboots, it starts libvirtd, pegasus cimom and libvirt-cim. It also restarts the VMs. Intermittently we noticed a core during start up that points to the last call made by libvirt-cim to "virInitialize". I am thinking that it is a timing issue where virInitialize is called while libvirt is trying to autostart the VMs.

Query regarding Xen_ComputerSystem
Hi, Libvirt provides classes such as Xen_ComputerSystem, Xen_Processor etc., in order to build applications using libvirt-api which can interact with the Xen Hypervisor. I would like to know what are the corresponding classes for the KVM hypervisor, so that I can use libvirt-cim to communicate with the hypervisor. Would it be Kvm_ComputerSystem or Qemu_Computersystem? Any help in this regard

Relation to DMTF's CIM
I was wondering how Puppet relates to the DMTF''s CIM. AFAICT there is a clear connection between the two, but I see very little discussion on the topic on the list. Thanks, Cameron. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Puppet Users" group. User-Oriented Management of Asterisk
While I was away on vacation, buried deeply in another thread (New Asterisk bounty: SIP simultaneous), Olle E. Johansson raised a question which is close to my heart - Asterisk's management model. A management model which simply manages telephone extensions and dial plans is irrelevant to most organisations. We need a model which manages users and their interaction with the PBX. I am
