sync append only file
...files are append-only so changes are already at the end of the file. Because files are big, I assume it will take some time comparing the first part of files. Is there a way that I can tell rsync to sync only the extra part at the end of file, and do not compare the first part of files? Thanks. Chuang

rsync daemon troubleshooting

rsyncd performance when handling multiple clients in parallel
...ny connections, the hard driver header will move around for writing different files, which may also slow down the disk IO throughput. Hello, I am not very familiar with R and need help in deleting a few columns in a matrix. Suppose I have a indicator variable called r and it's defined as r = (0, 0, 1, 1).
