I am not certain that this is the right place to post this, but maybe some kind soul can point me in the right direction if not. And I apologize if this is the wrong spot...The reason I posted here is that I recall running across a syslinux changlog that said "..added support for reading .spl..." files. I want to customize the suse boot up splash screens (for a CD install). I have been

[LLVMdev] stability of llvm ir across releases
Are you saying the textual form of IR can change, but bitcode doesn't? I don't know what you mean by assembly syntax. Is there a changlog entry when the textual IR changes? "--once" support / ADV
I wonder if anyone can help me understand syslinux ?once support - it appears supported since 4.00 (it's in the changlog), but the syslinux (4.07) command gives the message "At least one specified option not yet implemented for this installer.". anyone using boot-once with syslinux? Alternate question: since this is for an embedded device I would prefer not to have to install the

Timestamping in log file?
Hi, I''m wondering if it''s easy to add timestamps to the mongrel log? I am having a problem where an externally spawned application by Rails is failing. Mongrel kindly logs the error message returned by this application when it fails. But it doesn''t record a timestamp as to when the error occurs, which makes it a little tricky to sync this up to my webserver logs to

Issues with 1.8 and BlindTransfer
I am having issues with Blind Transfer on asterisk 1.8 If I call from one Grandstream phone to another and us the transfer key to do a blind transfer everything works fine. When calling in on a sip trunk and then trying to use the transfer key to transfer from Grandstream phone to Grandstream phone the call just hangs up. It did not do this on Asterisk 1.4.x or 1.6.2.x . If we use

Hello Timo, I've upgraded from dovecot-0.99 to dovecot-1.0-stable (the 2005-05-09 version) on FreeBSD 5.4 and encountered the following problems (problem #4 (assertion failed) made me downgrade back to dovecot-0.99...) : 1. mbox sync: UID inserted in the middle of mailbox /var/mail/gopauld (5230 > 4407) --> OK, that's documented on the Wiki, not a real problem 2. imap(cxxx):

Typo 5.2 for Rails 2.2 released
Hello, We''re very pleased and proud to announce the release of Typo 5.2 "Helmut Newton" for Rails 2.2, the famous blogging engine, 4 months after our last release. Typo 5.2 is more than a simple port from Rails 2.0.2 to Rails 2.2, it''s a major, deep, rewrite of the application. We''ve ditched lot of code, aiming at stability and performance, dividing

Sysinux 6 will not boot ISOs on BIOS (i.e. pre-UEFI) systems
It occured with every BIOS system I tested on (none of them Dell): 1. HP G62 laptop (i3) 2. Samsung RV520 (i3) Don't know what system Philip Muller uses; have copied him in as he has far more technical knowledge than I do. Syslinux tested from Arch and Manjaro (an Arch derivative). Basically found then when creating latest ISO images. I may be missing something as well about the FMs. Just

Has the changelog for R-devel and R-patched moved?
Hello. There used to be changelog of sorts for R-devel [1] and R-release [2]. Neither have been updated since 2015-07-24. Have these moved elsewhere, or are they no longer being updated? [LLVMdev] stability of llvm ir across releases
Is it safe to assume that LLVM IR will live more-or-less the same for most releases, and that significant changes will be communicated? Or is it something that can change at any time and you must not rely on it ever being same. To me, it seems like the IR has evolved slowly but no spectacularly large changes were made in the 1-1.5 years I've been watching it, -- sure some experimental patch

Sysinux 6 will not boot ISOs on BIOS (i.e. pre-UEFI) systems
Hi Ady, I'm the developer of manjaroiso, the tool we use to build our install medias for Manjaro Linux. During our testings we found out, that syslinux6 won't work on older hardware. I've a new Lenovo i7 notebook which booted up our images just fine. Even with syslinux6. On my other PCs I got similar error messages as Carl got. Here is the code I'm using for either syslinux6

Using Samba AD for NFSV4 Kerberos servers and clients
...eros ) all right work ok and you should have a 100% match. I've tried with one of the latest libnfsidmap files and builded it for debian stretch. http://apt.van-belle.nl/current-packages-in-stretch-experimental-apt.txt > stretch-experimental|main|amd64: libnfsidmap2 0.27-0.1~deb9 Since changlogs indicate that it should be fixed with 0.27 but its not, well at least i did not get the correct acls also with kerberos mounts. Irritation is, it did work for some time in Debian Jessie about 6-12 months ago, then it stopped there also. See also my message to debian: https://lists.debian.org/deb...

Sysinux 6 will not boot ISOs on BIOS (i.e. pre-UEFI) systems
Hi there, since I didn't had the time to test, this might be the solution for the issue Arch-based distros faced: https://projects.archlinux.org/svntogit/packages.git/plain/trunk/syslinux-6.02-fix-chainloading.patch?h=packages/syslinux This is included in the latest syslinux package you find in testing/unstable at Manjaro. kind regards Phil On 11/23/2013 03:44 PM, Philip M?ller wrote:
