Catv ATA problem
The Cable TV company has given me a two line ATA/Modem device made by
Arris. I figured on taking the FXS ports on it and connecting them to my
channel bank as additional lines. When I tested the lines with an analog
phone the line worked great, very clear and loud. When I connected to
the channel bank, the calls were great until they terminated after about
30 seconds. A few more tries

RE: installing automatic routes ?
Unless the bridge keeps stateful inspection data and can reply back to
the session''s origin, not it route then its fine.
The only way I can see this working is either putting the FTP/.. DMZ
behind the firewall giving true firewall protection for all services
involved, or if you just want to kludge the current solution, you can
perform a DNAT/SNAT interface bounce like the following:

ices 0.4, pure quality and more...
...quality. But is
this the one and right solution?
Second problem: Ices (or liblame?) does not properly closes played
mp3's... Few days and the limit of kern.maxfiles is exhausted.
How to fix this problem?
PS: System is FreeBSD 5.3

MGCP
Hi,
I picked up a router with 8 voice ports that supports MGCP, but it has
several options that I am not familiar with or do not seem apparent in the
mgcp.conf.
Enter the default IP address for the Notified Entity: [0.0.0.0]
Enter the listening port of the Notified Entity: [2427]
Enter the IP address for MGCP signalling (Data): [192.168.0.210]
Enter the local port for MGCP signaling (Data):

IPV4 is nearly depleted, are you ready for IPV6?
Seeing as IPV4 is near it's end of life
(http://www.internetnews.com/infra/article.php/3915471/IPv4+Nearing+Final+Days.htm),
I'm curios as who know whether everyone is ready for the changeover to
IPV6?
Is anyone using it in production already, and what are your experiences with it?
