Immediately after running winetricks a month ago, several very important directories disappeared from my hard drive, and despite paying a lot of money to good data recovery company, I have not been able to recover them. Now my installed Quicken no longer works. Also, I see that the .wine/config file points to /WINDOWS/C_Drive and no longer points to /home/mark/c, meaning it's possibly looking at the wrong registry or something? Is it possible to put Wine on somewhere that's other than the Home partition? Like a separate "windows" partition? Also, as I intend to use the Home partition to store most of my work/documents, is there a way for Wine to look beyond the Home/ whatever directory it's in?
