...turn on softupdates back and mount the fs in rw mode. I've double checked the disk's SMART results in case of hardware failure, but they were ok. My question is: what could cause such problem? ...a (SP1 x64) caused the problem. What solved the problem definitely was disabling TSO for re0 (ifconfig re0 -tso). I haven't notice any performance drop and it works fine, but I'm just curious what happened to the 'good' driver from 7.0-RELEASE. Best regards, -- _/_/ ..
