Please vote for your favorite Wine-1.0 bugs...
The 1.0 release of Wine is tenatively scheduled for the 15th anniversary of the project (roughly 1 June 2008, if you take Dan Dulitz' message as the start of the project, http://groups.google.com/group/comp.os.linux/msg/7f92abdf494ab8b3 ) Over the last six or so months, the wine developers have identified 180 or so bugs as possibly being worth fixing before the 1.0 release. 63 of the Wine

Plan for libguestfs 1.30
It has been a ludicrously long time (over 8 months) since the last stable release of libguestfs. So I'd like to plan a new 1.30 release soon. Please follow-up if there are features / blockers / bugs that need to be addressed for 1.30. As usual, bugs which have "1.30" (without quotes) in the Devel Whiteboard field in Bugzilla are nominated as blockers for the release. You can see

Plan for libguestfs 1.36
Libguestfs 1.34 was released on 2016-08-08, which is about 6 months ago. I'd would like to think about what needs work for the next stable 1.36 release, which might happen at the end of this month. Any new APIs added in the 1.35 cycle will become supported and guaranteed when we release 1.36, so we need to check those. See: git diff v1.34.0 -- generator/actions.ml It looks like there

Update WINE's 1.0.1 todo list?
I think that somebody should update the WINE's TODO list for 1.0.1 All the bugs in the list (http://bugs.winehq.org/buglist.cgi?product=Wine&target_milestone=1.0.1&order=bugs.bug_severity) are closed/fixed. [Rolling Eyes]

What's left for libguestfs 1.8 ...
Although 1.6.0 was only released 6 weeks ago, there have been 276 commits and 23 releases since then. It's therefore time to think about what needs to be done for 1.8. This is my personal list. Please follow up if you have other suggestions. Rich. * Implement guestfish --rw option / configuration file. http://libguestfs.org/guestfish.1.html#opening_disks_for_read_and_write * Alternate

The road to libguestfs 1.20
I've got some bad news: libvirt remote support is probably not going to make libguestfs 1.20. John Eckersberg is diligently working on this, but I don't want to hold up the release of the next stable libguestfs for this, particularly since it needs dependent changes in libvirt. The last stable branch of libguestfs (1.18) happened in the middle of May. That's 7 months ago, making

[5.0.0 Release] Please help fix the remaining blockers (2 days left!)
Hello everyone, According to the release schedule, we're supposed to be tagging 'final' on Wednesday. Unfortunately, I suspect we will be a little late. There are currently 32 open release blockers: https://bugs.llvm.org/buglist.cgi?f1=blocked&o1=equals&v1=33849&query_format=advanced&resolution=--- Some of those have traction, but many don't. Wine / Visual Foxpro 7 Problems (mouse click freezes the program)
Hi, First of all, apologies if I'm not posting this in the correct place. I'm successfully running Microsoft Visual Foxpro 7 under Wine, however I needed to use the native versions of shlwapi and oleaut32. There is a major problem still, however, and that is that foxpro will freeze as soon as I use the mouse to click in certain controls (the command window, a textbox, an edit box,

Beginner Bugs - Need help tagging
Anna Zaks, David Blaikie and I have been at Grace Hopper Conference for the last couple days talking to many people about LLVM and how to get involved in the project. Its been discussed many times before at LLVM Developer Meetings and recently on the mailing list about tagging bugs with the “beginner” keyword and that keyword was recently added to the LLVM Bugzilla. However, there are very few

Hai, I've (finaly) complete and restructured my apt. All non-samba related packages are removed, so it all dedicated for samba. More Info about my apt found here: http://apt.van-belle.nl/ The apt repo has the following setup. All term like (jessie) and (jessie-backports) and (unstable) are related to this apt repo (apt.van-belle.nl), but everything is builded and tested on Debian

Bugzilla OrcJIT Tickets
Hello everyone A previous thread about OrcJIT brought up bug reports on Bugzilla. A quick search gives 20+ results: https://bugs.llvm.org/buglist.cgi?component=OrcJIT&list_id=162232&query_format=advanced&resolution=--- While some of them are obviously outdated (addModuleSet API cleanup [1]), others may actually be relevant again (Small code model? [LLVMdev] LLVM ARM for shipped products?
I have been following the recent posts regarding LLVM ARM backend on the list. I am trying to figure out if I should start using LLVM to compile my project or if I should just stick with cross compilers like those provided by Code Sourcery and wait till a later time. I have the following questions in this regard: 1. Can some one tell me if LLVM ARM is being used by anyone to compile any shipped

Plan for libguestfs 1.32
Libguestfs 1.30 was released on 2015-07-21 and because of my wish to rebase libguestfs in RHEL 7.3, I'd like to release 1.32 in early December. Please follow-up if there are features / blockers / bugs that need to be addressed for 1.32.
