winbindd: Exceeding 200 client connections, no idle connection found
...ding 200 client connections, no idle connection found* We have been running Samba *3.6.3-0.52.5*, however when originally investigating the problem, it was found that *3.6.3-0.58.1* included a patch for the following: *Prune idle or hung connections older than "winbind request timeout"(bso#3204, bnc#872912)* *BSO #3204* covers what appears to be the exact problem we're having. The Bugzilla report is here: https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3204. ...al machine, having logged in locally. Chroot'ing gives the additional feature of restricting filesystem access to a specified part of the tree, nothing more. Especially, it should not distort the kind of actions the user could take if he logged in locally and did `chroot ~`. In <alpine.BSO.2.00.0903291837370.31551 at fuyu.mindrot.org> it was stated that the main reason for not relaxing this restriction is that setuid binaries could be executed. This argument isn't substantive (see arguments 2 to 5): 2.) In most cases, the user can execute the setuid binary using another e...

openssh-2.5.2p2 on SunOS 4.1.3
Hi developers, I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this question, so please don't crcify me if it isn't :) I'm trying to compile openssh-2.5.2p2 on SunOS 4.1.3. Since SunOS is not in the portable list, I took a look at this mailing list archive and found some of you guys have been able to compile it. My ./configure says I don't have the regex library : configure:

Good day. Help me please to solve my problem to login a user to samba domain. Samba accepts user authorisation only if a user account exists both in master.password and LDAP database. Note that uid and gid are taken from master.password instead of LDAP database. Match objects can be used for window matching but other objects than windows will likely be supported sometime soon. A match object contains a boolean tree of expressions and each expression can be implemented by a different plugin. The core interface only
