card. First the kernel didn't want to compile, but that was caused by a

Unity3D works. .blend import doesn't
Unity3D seems to be working in wine fairly well, despite a few non-critical problems.
One such problem is that when a .blend is imported, Unity complains with "Blender could not be found" and instructs me to "Make sure that Blender is installed and the .blend file has Blender as its 'Open with' application!"
I installed the windows version of Blender in wine (first 2.49, then 2.57), and no luck.
I've narrowed the problem down to the ce...

I ruined windows
I am dual-booting windows and linux. I switched over almost entirely to linux. I wanted to render a model I made in 3ds max, so I used mount --bind to use my real C drive as my wine C drive. Unfortunately, that ruined windows. I eventually got the model to render in blender, but I still want windows to work. How can I fix windows?

FFMEG2Threora Bug
Today I was transcoding a video using the latest release of
ffmpeg2theora and noticed some strange artifacts in the output video.
In areas which are very white small black marks appear. I was
transcoding the blender open movie "Big Buck Bunny" and its very
noticeable on the credits in particular. The source video was their
official 1080p .ogg download.
I have uploaded a screen grab of the problem. It appears worst in the
credits but if you look closely it is in the entire video.

Does anyone run the following reliably under WINE?
...n Linux. I've gotten Flash 4 to work but haven't
personally tried Flash 5. Linux specific versions are available from
Macromedia.com
Not sure about the middle 2 but as far as 3DSMax goes there is Houdini
for Linux (retial $17000) that may or may not be similar to 3DSMax.
There is also Blender for Linux. I find it hard to use. I was able to
figure out Bryce w/o needing a manual but Blender is just about
imposible to use w/o having a manual for knowing where to find things.
There is a guide available which was featured in the latest LJ.

I have a UC-LoGIC WP8060 tablet.I using wizardpen taplet driver. I using PS 7.0 with wine-0.9.33.
My Pen worked perfectly with wine-0.9.33, but PS7.0 has some bugs.
I update my wine "wine-0.9.56". PS 7.0 working perfectly but my pen has not got pressure sensitive.
I turn back wine-0.9.33. I have too much problems PS 7.0. I want to use new

installer. It should also provide Windows compatibility so MS Office
can be used instead of LibreOffice.

...I've been trying to solve this mystery since February and have only found a sprinkling of sites here and there that will even TALK about streaming server software and of those few, I've come across abuse and ignorance in plenty.
This software has little to no docs to speak of (not unlike Blender which to my knowledge has absolutely NO docs at ALL in my 8 years of searching.)

Source of small program and somewhat minimized shaders

I was looking into a crash[1] in latest version of Blender, which turned out to
be a crash in the Nouveau shader code generator.
The crash occurs when linking shaders. I traced the crash to the following
lines in the shader code:
