CentOS 7 - Have 2 disks, each with a biosboot partition, can only boot off one of them
Hi all,
I used a kickstart script to setup a new machine of mine with RAID 1
(I couldn't get anaconda to create matching partition schemes). So I've
now got /dev/sdg1 and /dev/sdh1 as 'bios_grub' (/dev/sd{a-f} are a
separate array).

CentOS 6.6 64-bit won't install on a 3 TB disk

1: Is this system booting UEFI or BIOS?
2: Is the disk partitioned with MBR or GPT?
3: Is /boot on its own partition?
3TB drives are larger than MBR and BIOS properly support, so they're
only really expected to work on a system partitioned with

Syslinux boot from a partition on sub stick with GPT label
I recently tried to install several distros on a usb stick, with the
peculiarity of creating in it a GPT label rather than the usual dos label.
Installed Grub2 using the parted bios_grub flag on a partition, I proceeded
to copy several distros on the remaining partitions.
Grub2 worked fine, chainloading syslinux on each of the partitions. Or
rather it worked all fine until I reached the fifth partition. Once tried
with that all I got was a boot error.
Having tried extlinux on that...

btrfs-raid questions I couldn't find an answer to on the wiki
I''m currently researching an upgrade to (raid1-ed) btrfs from mostly
reiserfs (which I''ve found quite reliable (even thru a period of bad ram
and resulting system crashes) since data=ordered went in with 2.6.16 or
whatever it was. (Thanks, Chris! =:^)) on multiple md/raid-1s. I have
some questions that don''t appear to be addressed well on the wiki, yet,
or where

OTOH,
