Compiling 1.9.18p10 or p8 on SCO OSR5.0.4

Access denied
Hello, Samba 1.9.16p11 on Sun OS 5.6 For a NT4 Server SP4, I can not access to the samba server. When I look at the log.MachineName file, I see the error "password server not avalaible". I must say that it is working fine with an NT4 SP4 server on the same domain with the same user account. I have change the registry to authorize non-encrypted password. ...... Thanks. --

Authentication only on NT Boxes not accepted
Hi folks, I'am using Samba 2.0.0 on a Linux and a Sun box and i have the following problem: I can log in from a smbclient but not from an NT Client using Security=Domain. 1.) Doubleclick on the machine opens the password dialouge (which should'n appear, beacuse i'am already logged in the domain) Enter my domainusername and password.
