Is there any function equivalent to Rgui's File--Save to File (menu bar) command ? (R for Windows)
...ile to automatically save the contents of the console as
an ASCII text file whenever I quit Rgui. Or is there any system parameter
that represents the contents of the console and can be used as an argument
of save command?

To execute jpeg() under a remotely accessed Linux machine(via non-X-window emulation mode)
...I use tridiaVNC viewer, jpeg() works as expected.
My question is whether or not we can execute jpeg() command from a
non-X11-window(-emulated) window? If not, is there any workaround to
generate a jpeg file?

A bug (?) in Rgui Configuration Editor (buffer lines) in R1.2.0 for Windows (Rgui.exe)
...to "buflines." Then R no longer
issued the above mentioned warning.
Is this some coding bug or something special for my case?

Problem about Rconsole: R for Windows Version 1.5.0 Patched (2002-06-05 and 2002-06-12)
R (Windows version) users/developers:
While I have checked R-help/-devel mailing lists and R-bug-tracking
system, this problem has not been reported so far. I would like to know
whether this problem is specific to my machine.
Lately I downloaded the version 1.5.0 patched [for windows] from
http://www.stats.ox.ac.uk/pub/bdr/RWin/Rpre/ [patched: 2002-06-05] and

RWin 1.2.1: Can't access sample datasets, e.g. MASS
...ped it; the same for the other data (and R-ex)
directories in the tree. Is this new behavior?
There are no .Renviron files on the system and the only .Rprofiles are the
[#'d out] one in /etc and the original, unmodified
"mother-of-all-Rprofiles" in /lib/R. The latter, for some reason, loads
ctest...
I'm obviously missing something since I didn't go thru any such gyrations
using R<1.2.1 ?
