where is the kernel
...-xen-3.4.2.tar.gz to try and compile my Xen kernel on debian 5.0.2
everything went well when i ussed make, make modules, make modules_install, and make install. The following files were created in the boot directory.
vmlinuz-2.6.18.8-xen
config-2.6.18.8-xen
System.map-2.6.18.8-xen
however in the arach/x86_64 there is no kernel.
what did i miss?

Reliability and robustness problems
I am trying to use rsync to backup from a site we will call "office" and
another we will call "home."
Both sites have DSL accounts provided by Arachnet.
At present the files being backed up don't all all to be backed up, but
OTOH we wish to backup lots more files that aren't being backed up now.
First, we create a local backup on our office machine which happens to
be called "mail." We have this directory structure:

keyboard input under a vm

Is there any reason why the keyboard poll routine (int 16h) in conio.inc checks fro a serial port.
when pxelinux.0 is run under a vm - the keyboard does not register.
which makes menus useless.
Also the timer is broken.

I have a BIOS that has a broken timer.
I think tho that the user tick interrupt 1ch works.
I was trying to write four functions in assembler to fix the problem.
