ownership of pid directory
Hello all, Some time ago, you all were very helpful in getting nut running on an OpenBSD system, using--for what it's worth--a CyberPower 1500AVR. So I finally got my FreeBSD system's UPS, also a CyberPower 1500AVR, within reach of its serial cable and I'm trying to get nut running here. I'm going nuts. Basically, I copied the OpenBSD configuration over to the FreeBSD system

...stops" when i read it... but i skipped his _example_, since java is disabled in my browser. during a re-read, i turned on java, temporarily, to see his example. and i'm _very_ impressed. in real time, on an interactive web-page, nick makes elastic tabstops work, and he makes them work _well_... i mean, i've done it inside an offline app. but this is on the live web! java, of course, is a non-starter, with all the exploits out these days, but my goodness, there must be _some_ other way to enable this... because if you look at this, and can honestly say you don't believe thi...

Linux HA may not be the best choice in your situation. High Availability using 2 sites
Just to clarify, I'm looking at this from an application layer Point of View. One of the reasons why I'm looking at it that way, is because Tim said he was looking at LinuxHA..."application level" redundancy that uses IP. Tim, just to let you know, I don't believe that LinuxHA will work in the way you described, only because of the different IP ranges. It looks like Linux

Missing Text in Wine 1.1.12
Hello, I am running a fully updated Intrepid Ibex 8.10 on my desktop. I installed Wine from the repositories using Code: sudo apt-get install wine Wine 1.1.12 is downloaded & installed correctly but none of the menus or buttons have any text in them. Clicking on any button flashes the text on it. Everything else is replaced by _ . Here are a couple of screenshots : [Image:

Final Post/Lack of support
Hi, I went to the official xiph channel on IRC (openprojects) to try once more to get some support for the *.ogm stuff we did. I think there still is and always will be the need for this extension, out of _well_ known reasons. I was in a bad mood for all the stuff which happened the last months regarding the ogg container being called ogm to indicate that this isn't meant for a music player, said some bad words there and honestly apologized for that as well. But what I experienced there (as usual...

four wildcards in a single pc
Hi. Please excuse me asking this again. But it really puzzles me. We're installing asterisk at a branch office at NJ (HQ is at Petach-Tikva) It'll need to support 5 POTS lines, 11 analog extensions and four VOIP phones. I wanted to go with a T1 card from digium and a channel bank, but we have a dead line. It has to be up and running by January 1st. I don't have the time to start
