Fw: usrmgr samba 3 rc1 delete user script update
win 2000 serv pack 4 german gives the same failure

i finally got
add user script = /usr/sbin/useradd -m %u
to work ( it was a permisson task)
delete user script = /usr/sbin/userdel -r %u
does not work anyway
log says
rpc_server/srv_samr_nt.c:_samr_unknown_2d(4291)
_samr_unknown_2d: Not yet implemented.
as it always did since i tested samba 3
this i the very last funktion i missed
to admin samba 3 with usrmgr.....it should work
before samba 3 goes to final...
i used win xp serv pack 1a german for testing as client
no problems here.

User Manager for Domains
I have a Samba 2.2.4 (Slack 8.1) configured as a PDC dor NT&9x machines.
I have tried using User Manager for Domains (I've run it on a Windows NT
Workstation) in order to set user permisions for different workstations
(such as log on to the WKST, acces the WKST from network, change sistem
time, etc) but the I get the message "The parameter is incorrect"

delete user script is not working from usrmgr

i can create user on the fly,
i can create groups on the fly
i can delete groups on the fly
add and delete users to groups
but if i want to dlete users with
delete user script = /usr/sbin/userdel -r %u
log shows me

what does this mean i am not a programmer at all, but this line works from
command line very good, and additional it should only delete the users entry
in smbpasswd
