dovecot.index.cache 1/3rd of INBOX size
I've noticed that my dovecot.index.cache file has got very large (24MB, which is more than 1/3 of my INBOX size). I've tried deleting (well, renaming) the dovecot.index.* files, and re-opening my INBOX, and the new dovecot.index.cache is only 90KB so far. I'm using dovecot-1.0-stable and mbox format. My mail_cache_fields and mail_never_cache_fields are set to the default. Looking back in the list archives, I found a message from Timo that suggested the cache entries are created for each message when the indexes are created, rather t...

feature request: gzip support in syslinux itself
HPA, is it possible to add GZ support in syslinux itself? Some standalone software compresses very well, but is not compressed. Example is the Memtest86+ binary (90KB uncompressed --> 35KB gzip'd) and maybe Smart Boot Manager (gzip'd COM32 binary instead of normal COM32 binary?). I'm using both on a simple bootdisk, and all space savings are welcome. a workaround could ofcourse be to write each of them to a diskette, then read in the diskette (RA...

Wrong IP address error returned -- 64-bit CPU
...iting the /etc/hosts file with the right IP. In order for the update to work, you must enter the IP address of your phone. Every time I do this, they come back with "invalid IP Address" even though it is correct. If anyone can help, I'd appreciate it. I can supply logs and/or the 90KB program. They are from Linksys/Sipura, and are "rington.exe" and "rec-spa962-5-2-8sc.exe" Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions.

tc ingress policing with multiple subnets
...rive at the speed of 1024kbps, and at the same time packets are arriving from pp.dd.df.0/23 at 1024kbps the overall would be 2048kbps, which I do not want. Any comments or suggestions on this topic are welcomed. Another question I have is, what is the difference of the burst/buffer being 10kb or 90kb for example? What difference would that make? Compressing data for package builds
...een compressed from megabytes down to Kb. Also,, the instructions "R CMD build --resave-data" doesnt do anything that I can see so I must be using it wrong. Is there a piece of the puzzle I am missing or instructions better than these: I tried LazyDataCompression and my data.rdb is 90Kb. "Package *tools* has a couple of functions to help with data images: checkRdaFiles reports on the way the image was saved, and resaveRdaFiles will re-save with a different type of compression, including choosing the best type for that particular image. Some packages using ‘LazyData’ will be...

Testing preRelease 0.3
Hi all, I?ve updated my local repository with version from 05/01/26 0:00 CET My test - torrent is very active, so Azureus gets an average download of 40kb/s after a few seconds running, and up to 90kb/s after two minutes. Rubytorrent has not even 1 piece after fifteen minutes. It gets connected to 12 or 15 peers but the download ratio is always below 2kb/s. From my point of view there is a long break while trying to connect to a peer. I didn`t watch the code but there seems to happen nothin...

Using barplot() with zoo -- names.arg not permitted?

I'm willing to share the function (in its current state) and a sample data set (~90KB), but didn't think it would be appropriate to spam the list with either at this point. Thanks! PNG and Alpha-Transparency
Is there a prototype / extension which will assist in cross-browser support of PNG images? http://www.alistapart.com/articles/pngopacity/ It seems to me that a class could be developed which would zip through the DOM and make changes where needed for IE 5.5 / IE 6.0 to handle PNG images. I don''t want to write one if it''s been done before. Sam

5,000 concurrent calls system rollout question
Hi, we are currently considering different options for rolling out a large scale IP PBX to handle around 3,000 + concurrent calls. Can this be done with Asterisk? Has it been done before? I really would like an input on this. Thanks! -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:
