ZFS panic while mounting lofi device?
I believe ZFS is causing a panic whenever I attempt to mount an iso image (SXCR build 39) that happens to reside on a ZFS file system. The problem is 100% reproducible. I''m quite new to OpenSolaris, so I may be incorrect in saying it''s ZFS'' fault. Also, let me know if you need any additional information or debug output to help diagnose things.

[amr] raid config went from RAID5 to RAID0 ?
I just noticed something very strange on one of our Dell PE1750 servers.
It is running FreeBSD 4-STABLE on dual CPU's with the embedded Dell Raid
controller (amr driver). Attached are 3 disks of 145GB. On a RAID5 logical
drive this gives me ~280GB storage.

Stipes blah
Size blah
STATUS=OPTIMAL
Now it gives:
STATUS=UNKNOWN
RAID0
No logical drives
The only thing that happened in between was an update from
4.11-p-something to 4-STABLE. I fa...

How Samba let us down
...results from our sad
experience...
BACKGROUND
I've been using NT for 4 years, Netware and Linux for
3 years, and Samba for almost 2. I work in the IT
department of a medium-sized unit of a global
advertising company. We have a Netware and NT
environment with a bit of Linux.
We installed a 280GB IDE Samba archive server (rare
usage) and a 15GB SCSI Mac/Samba file server (medium
usage). We also use Samba for more menial tasks like
smbmounts and file transfers. We thought we were
comfortable with Samba. We knew we were comfortable
with other types of file servers.
